Dec 6, 2019 l.sherm l 6.5 prc barnes ammo 127 lrx velocity in 24 bbl tonechaser88 nov 11, 2021 replies 5 views 6k nov 12, 2021 It's their heavy varmint rifle with a stout 26 fluted ss barrel I'd run a 24 bbl minimum if you're looking for max fps
1:8 twist will be plenty, there are a few new bullets out that have great bc that require 1:7.5 but they're heavy and that small. My brother has got a savage 112 bvss in.223 What sort of loads and velocities are you guys seeing with the 7 prc
I’m sort of toying with the idea of replacing my 300 wm with the 7 prc but what wondering what is real.
That is out of the 22 inch barrel I know if i went with a 24 inch barrel rifle i could get about 100 fps more I have a finnlite with a 20.5 bbl that shoots the 120 ttsx at 3200fps I have a.308 blr with 18.5 bbl
I get ~2600 with 165gr ab's haven't shot anything past 300yd with it yet but my ballistic table suggests my loads should have adequate velocity. Go with what fits the young man and allows them to shoot/practice the most
